She entered the gate of my heart smiling

With bare feet and red chins

Wearing a white long dress and a flower hair band

Drew a garden of roses I’m impressed

Not even good with painting plants

But she’s making wonders instead

Painting my dreams with her magic hands

 ***********

Have I been saved?

Have I been saved by an angel?

***********

I have gone in pursuit of happiness

Got lost and wandered around

Like a shy stranger sunk in loneliness

And what do I have inside?

Hopes, dreams, and an angel with a white dress

I am a troubled misfortunate man

In quest of himself

Already lost the count of my disasters

Wondering why I still feel so blessed

  ***********

Have I been saved?

Have I been saved by a woman?

  ***********

I don’t know how I look in the mirror

Don’t remember my face expressions

Yet I know that the big tear

Will get lost in my long hairy beard

What a fearful way to die but I have failed to try...

I haven’t shaved as to hide my pain

And pretend that it is all Okay

  ***********

Then I felt inside my chest bumping

My guardian angel is singing and dancing

Turning the black roses into color

Bringing me courage to open my eyes to the mirror

I have seen a smile decorating my face

Maybe I have finally found my grace

My quest is done here and my pursuit is finished

 ***********

I have been saved

I have been healed by a woman.
